I have The Princess Diaries on audiobook for my Kindle. I finally tried downloading one from the library (I know, not only am I way behind on The Princess Diaries, but I’m behind on using my Overdrive app.) I listen to this in the tub, when I’m washing dishes, and when I’m getting around town on the bus. I love it. Anne Hathaway does the narration and she’s so good. I don’t think anyone could have done a better job as the voice of Mia than she does. I’m almost 47% through it, or so, and I can’t wait to finish it. It’s such a cute, funny little book. If you still haven’t read it, I highly recommend it.

I’ve never read The Princess Diaries either! Glad I’m not the only one. I’ve actually just started checking out a load of Meg Cabot books so that one’s next on my list. And yay for Overdrive! I love listening to audiobooks on there. I don’t borrow ebooks so much as I don’t like reading on my iPod, but ocassionally I cave because my library has a really good selection.
I haven’t heard of Why Can’t I Be You so I’m going to check that one out now. Sarah Dessen is an author I’m yet to get round to reading but definitely want to!

I think Cabot and Dessen are the two authors whom I always pick up at the library and never finish. They’re like acquaintances that I never get to know thoroughly until a lot later.
Sarah Dessen is an amazing comtemporary author, I didn’t realise she had another novel coming out soon! 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
