WWW Wednesday 7 Aug 2013 (Find out what I am reading this week)

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

Mockingjay (Hunger Games #3) by Suzanne Collins.

I started reading this now that the second movie is coming out. I bought the set before I moved here in 2011, and after all the reviews of how it’s not as great as the other two, I put it aside. I still like Collins’s voice in the story. Aside from the whole bunch of characters that I have a hard time keeping up with, Katniss is a good, strong female. It’s not that I can really relate to her, it’s just written so I can feel as if I’m part of the story. That’s the kind of writing I think we all strive to create.

Also, I love how my phone wants to add “Collins” after I type out my name.

What did you recently finish reading?

Carrie by Stephen King

I still have to write my review for that, but heck, I still didn’t write my review for Divergent that I finished months ago.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I honestly have no idea what I’ll read next. I just pick up the ton of books I have and find one that catches my attention. I can say I’m going to read any number of books, but it will more than likely end up being something completely different.

Happy Reading and Happy Wednesday!

I loved Mockingjay too! I am hoping to read Carrie within the next couple of months 🙂

I liked Mockingjay, despite the mixed reviews. I’ve never read Carrie. I’m the same way with my TBR pile. It all depends on how I feel when I’m ready to start a new book.

I haven’t actually read Carrie but I liked the movie and hope the new version is good, too! And Hunger Games…I started the first but am having such a hard time reading it since I already saw the movie.
